Living close to the River Mersey for the past 28 years has also enabled Sue to develop an interest in dinghy sailing.

With a good knowledge about the various classes of boats and sailing in different locations she has been inspired by the challenge to create movement and to interpret the role played by key elements in the painting’s construction.
